Engage Partners is Hiring a Director of Client Engagement Near Palo Alto, CA

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Client Engagement to join our team. This front-facing marketing leader will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including clinical leadership, operations staff, and representatives from various service lines and departments. The Director will provide critical input for marketing strategies and plans that support initiatives across the Enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team in developing holistic and actionable marketing plans that align with organizational priorities, including strategic marketing objectives, target audience definition, key messages, tactics, timeline, and metrics.
  • Oversee and hold ultimate accountability for the team’s execution of marketing plans, closely monitoring outcomes and metrics.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with key stakeholders and departments throughout the organization.
  • Regularly provide and present updates to key internal and external stakeholders regarding marketing initiatives and their impact.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Communications, and Strategy departments to ensure marketing efforts align with and drive support for our goals.
  • Influence go-to-market plans that drive growth, customer engagement, and patient retention.
  • Coach, mentor, and manage assigned staff to foster collaboration, increase efficiencies, and maximize team impact.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10 years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience in an academic medical or community hospital setting.
  • 7 years of supervisory experience in an academic medical or community hospital setting.
  • Experience in an academic medical or community hospital setting.
  • Proven expertise in developing and executing effective marketing strategies.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to resolve conflicts through collaboration and communication.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex ideas in a simple and impactful manner.
  • Ability to work effectively across a highly matrixed organization, with strong executive presence.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and drive change with a collaborative management style.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Additional Notes:

  • This position is hybrid, requiring onsite presence in Palo Alto, CA, approximately once a week.
  • Candidates must be local or willing to relocate, with potential relocation assistance available.
  • Ideal candidates will have a background in healthcare, service line marketing, and relationship marketing.
  • Strong management skills are essential, with the ability to lead a team of four.
  • The interview process will include video interviews with the hiring manager, panel interviews, and a final interview with the CMO.
