Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Alterations Specialist to join our team. As an Alterations Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality alterations and tailoring services to our customers. Your attention to detail and expertise in garment construction will ensure that our customers receive the perfect fit every time.

Responsibilities:
- Perform alterations and tailoring services on a variety of garments, including but not limited to dresses, suits, pants, and shirts
- Take accurate measurements and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper fit
- Sew, hem, and repair garments using both hand stitching and sewing machine techniques
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate alterations based on their needs and preferences
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with the final product
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with other team members to meet deadlines and ensure efficient workflow

Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers
- In-depth knowledge of garment construction techniques and fabric types
- Proficient in basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations
- Expertise in sewing techniques using both hand stitching and sewing machines
- Previous experience in a fashion retail or alterations environment is preferred
