Accounts Payable Analyst:

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accounts Payable Analyst to join their team!

Our client is a leading manufacturing company dedicated to delivering high-quality products to their customers. They are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Analyst to join their finance team. The Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst will play a crucial role in managing the accounts payable function. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Receive, review, and process invoices from vendors and suppliers.
2. Ensure accurate coding and timely entry of invoices into the accounting system.
3. Coordinate with purchasing and receiving departments to resolve discrepancies and obtain necessary approvals.
4. Serve as a primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and payment discrepancies.
5. Generate and process payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers.
6. Conduct weekly or bi-weekly check runs and ensure timely delivery of payments to vendors.
7. Reconcile payment batches and maintain accurate records of transactions.
8. Reconcile corporate credit card statements and employee expense reports.
9. Verify the accuracy and legitimacy of expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies.
10. Manage petty cash transactions and reconcile petty cash accounts.
11. Maintain accurate records of petty cash disbursements and receipts.
12. Replenish petty cash fund as needed and ensure proper documentation.
13. Assist in month-end close procedures related to accounts payable.
14. Prepare and maintain accruals for outstanding invoices and expenses

Required Qualifications & Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
2. Previous experience in accounts payable or finance role within a manufacturing environment preferred.
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
