We are looking for a Computer Operator III in San Diego, CA. 

SUMMARY:

Provide professional computer operator services assist NIWC Pacific Security Support Services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for running computer operations as well as ensuring that computer systems and hardware are in good working order.
• Tasks include maintaining work order schedules, inputting commands into computer terminals, performing routine maintenance and installing software updates.
• Prepares and operate computer hardware systems to process business, scientific, engineering, or other data, according to operating instructions.
• Observes the operation of computers which include, but are not limited to, mainframes, minicomputers, DN Networks of personal computers, ensuring usage as efficiently as possible.
• Controls the console and sets controls require to run particular jobs.
• Review enlisted advancement eligibility requirements and identify to the TA personnel that have met eligibility requirements for advancement or participation in advancement examinations. 

Requirements

• 7-9 years of experience
• Secret Security Clearance-Required
