About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Nurse Executive to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direction, leadership, planning, and general management for all aspects of patient care within the medical center. This includes ensuring the integration of services, compliance with long-range objectives and strategies, and the provision of excellent quality services with responsible fiscal management. The role involves strategic leadership as the patient care executive, with oversight of the professional practice of nursing and the provision of nursing care in all licensed and surveyable areas of the medical center. The Chief Nurse Executive will also engage in the development of shared goals with nursing and other leaders, assist in the development of strategic and tactical plans for nursing and clinical performance, and participate in the optimization of clinical pathway models to support patient care and service.Candidates for this position must have a Master's degree in nursing or a related field, with a DNP or PhD preferred. A minimum of seven years of progressive experience in clinical, management, and leadership roles within hospital operations is required, along with previous Magnet experience. The role also demands a Nurse Executive Board Certificate or Nurse Executive Advanced Certificate within 12 months of hire, and a CA Registered Nurse License. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to engage in the development and success of shared goals, contribute to the development of innovative strategic and tactical plans, and participate in the optimization of clinical pathway models.
