Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Health Planner, we will look for you to:
- Provide planning, design and coordination support on projects
- Engage in problem solving, teamwork, critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and visualization to create accurate and detailed drawings
- Prepare drawings and specification documents
- Research, plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials
- Review, distribute and file submittals, shop drawings, material data and samples
- Assist the Project Manager's efforts to coordinate the structural, mechanical, electrical and civil disciplines throughout the design process in preparation of the final working drawings
- Perform other duties as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field
- Must have knowledge of healthcare architecture planning and design.
- Understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, prints, drawings and models
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated and flexible
- Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in the construction of buildings
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
- Strong organizational skills
- 1 years experience in A/E industry
- Master's degree in Architecture
- Healthcare related coursework
- Must have met the qualifications of the scholar program
