Position purpose

Monitor the loan boarding process to ensure accuracy. Perform file maintenance throughout the life of loan. Maintain cleared tops of cabinets and organize various documents chronologically within physical loan files.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

Level 1:

Print Labels and Create File Folders for Loan Files

• Organize and Sort Documents and Correspondence
• File Various Documents Chronologically within Physical Loan Files
• Maintain Cleared Tops of Cabinets
• Act as a Courier for Physical Loan Files
• Organize Archives
• Maintain Onsite and Offsite Storage
• Maintain Overview of “Checked Out” Loans
• New Loan Setup
  • Review closing documents and input data in Servicing system
  • Review the automatic boarding process for data integrity
  • Manually board all private loans, repurchases, scratch & dent

Qualifications

• Mortgage experience is a plus
• Excellent organization skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Able to keep abreast of all changes and adapt them into daily routine
• Able to interface with compliance personnel and regulators as needed

Work Requirements

Each employee must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, utilize a computer, maintain a work schedule, and effectively perform in an office setting. To maintain and ensure secure privacy of borrower (and other protected) information, an essential function of this job may require physical attendance in a defined office space. (i.e. branch or corporate office location). Employment with PRMI requires compliance with and adherence to all applicable mortgage and fair lending laws and regulations as well as PRMI policies. The ability to work extended hours may be required.
