Private Duty Nursing involves providing personalized care in the homes of clients with specialized healthcare needs, requiring up to 16 hours of continuous hourly nursing care per day.
Responsibilities
- Delivering one-on-one care and fostering patient interaction
- Conducting vital signs and physical assessments
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Documenting the patient's ongoing condition
- Possibility of providing care for G-tubes, trachs, and vents
- Receive one-on-one specialized training
- Access training for trachs, ventilators, and G-tubes
