Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Neurology has an opportunity for board-certified/eligible neurologists who are interested in a Clinical Educator career in neurology. We believe that a broad interest in clinical neurology is of value to our program. A subspecialty interest is not required, but if present may be developed in conjunction with existing subspecialty programs. Subspecialty interests for this position could include EMG/neuromuscular (fellowship training preferred), movement disorders, neuro-otology, headache, multiple sclerosis, functional disorders or dementia.
This position will have a flexible balance of both neurology clinics and attending our general neurology teaching ward service, depending on the candidate's interest. We are looking for someone with a passion for teaching our neurology residents, fellowships, and medical students and instilling in them a sense of clinical duty, partnership, and whole-person care. Added faculty development in seminars and conferences dedicated to furthering neurology education and teaching are supported and opportunities for clinical research and educational outcomes are available.
Our neurology department serves our brand new tertiary academic medical center, an expanding regional medical center (Riverside University Medical Center), a faculty clinical practice, and a Federally Qualified Health Center (SAC Health Systems). We are a highly collegial group that balances fulfilling academic careers with lifestyle and family.
Compensation & Benefits
The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $180,000- $265,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
