POSITION SUMMARY

The Revenue Integrity Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial records. This individual will oversee transactional level details, including volumes and reimbursement rates, to guarantee proper accounting and reflection in monthly financial results. The Revenue Integrity Manager will collaborate with various departments to implement best practices and optimize the quality of the revenue cycle processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manages a complex process around revenue calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyzes transactional data related to healthcare services, including shipped volumes, procedures codes, and reimbursement rates.
  • Identifies discrepancies, errors, or irregularities in transactional records and takes corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensures correct adherence to write off and adjustments reason codes.
  • Collaborates with the finance team to accurately reflect transactional details in monthly financial reports.
  • Leads revenue recognition processes as part of month end close to ensure compliance with accounting principles and organizational policies.
  • Prepares and presents detailed reports on revenue trends, variances, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Develops and implements strategies to enhance revenue cycle reporting efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conducts regular audits and assessments of revenue integrity processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Provides training and support to staff members on revenue integrity best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborates with billing, coding, compliance, and operational teams to streamline revenue cycle operations and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Promotes a team-oriented work environment by encouraging & demonstrating cooperation, collaboration, and co-ownership of processes. 
  • Fosters a team-oriented work environment by encouraging the building & maintenance of constructive work relationships.
  • Keep an open-door policy and communicate with Supervisors and Team Leaders to understand the department’s performance and identify areas that need additional support.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on revenue integrity matters, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders.

  • May perform any additional responsibilities or special projects as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelors in Finance or related field
  • Training and experience resulting in advanced familiarity with the standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to the accounting or FP&A function.
  • 5 years accounting / audit experience (sr auditor / manager level) or 3-5 years in relevant FP&A experience
  • Advanced knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Intermediate level of MS Office proficiency
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel

Pay range and Compensation Package

Salary ranges may vary depending on location. The general hiring range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000 yearly salary. Actual compensation depends on education, experience and relevant skills.
