CITY OF FREMONT is Hiring a Recreation Leader Near Fremont, OH
JOB DESCRIPTION AND WORKER CHARACTERISTICS:
JOB DUTIES in order of importance
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION : For purposes of 42 USC 12101.
Responsible for scheduling and conducting of recreation camp activities, craft shows, special events, and outings; responsible for program area clean up and care of all department property and equipment.
Supervises assigned program participants (e.g., enforces program rules to maintain a safe environment; responds to disciplinary problems; etc.).
Maintains records of participants and activities.
Maintains required licensures and certifications.
Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
Meets all job safety requirements and all applicable OSHA safety standards that pertain to essential functions.
Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Performs other duties as required.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS :
Any combination of training and work experience which indicates possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below. An example of an acceptable qualification for this position:
Completion of or actively working toward completion of secondary education, plus related previous work experience; or equivalent.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
Valid Ohio driver's license, First aid and CPR certifications.*
