- Responsible for the total stores operation which entails managing the inventory of parts and supplies
- Receive, stock and maintain all items necessary to keep the plant operating
- Responsible for the purchasing of all parts and equipment relative to plant operations and capital projects
- Knowledge across various products such as tools, abrasives, pipes, chemicals, valves & fittings, fasteners, cutting tools, electrical products, PPE etc
- Maintain correct inventory at established levels through use of SAP and physical inventory
- Utilize 5S principles to continuously improve Stores organization and housekeeping
- Continuously identifying cost-savings opportunities
- Manage Storeroom budget (Annual Operating Plan)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Must be PC literate including MS Word and Excel
- Well organized, detail oriented and enjoys being a problem solver
- Prior Stores management and knowledge of SAP preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent with two to four years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Associates Degree Preferred
