Job Description
- Operation of Telehandler:
- Safely and efficiently operate a telehandler to transport materials and equipment around the construction site.
- Load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
- Place materials at specified locations using the telehandler, including placing materials at heights or within confined spaces
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the telehandler to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and any incidents or near-misses.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Training and Certification:
- Participate in required training sessions and maintain up-to-date certifications for telehandler operation.
- Stay informed about new telehandler models, technologies, and best practices in material handling.
- Proven experience as a telehandler operator in a construction setting.
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and material handling procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret site plans and instructions.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with site teams.
