About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of People and Culture to provide strategic human resources and organizational development guidance. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating an engaged and productive workforce through the implementation of HR policies, programs, and practices. This hands-on role involves overseeing staffing, recruitment, employee relations, wage and salary administration, and employee training and orientation. The Vice President of People and Culture will also work closely with the leadership team, requiring strong skills in HR practices, relationship management, and effective communication at all levels within the organization.Candidates for this position must have a Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for a J.D. or an advanced degree in human resources or business management. A Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification is required, with HRCI Certification being preferred. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of HR experience, with at least 10 years in a supervisory role and a minimum of five years in a senior leadership position, preferably within the healthcare sector. Key responsibilities include ensuring HR compliance with regulations, developing training and performance management programs, managing the employee evaluation process, creating and updating employee compensation strategies, and maintaining employee benefits programs. The role also involves handling employee issues and conflicts, overseeing HRIS data entry, and leading employee engagement and professional development programs.
