Seeking a Valuation Manager to join a public accounting firm in the Chicago area, specializing in accounting, tax, due diligence, IT, retirement plan and business consulting services to middle market and entrepreneurial companies in a variety of industries, as well as government entities, public school districts and nonprofit organizations.
About you:
Prepare company and business interest valuation analysis.
Work on economic damages assignments.
Contribute to consulting projects that include transfer price analyses across multiple industries.
Lead teams, assist clients, and understand the valuation of businesses for mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and management planning.
Manage client relationships and provide consultation on all aspects of valuation process.
Understand, manage, and develop strategies to mitigate internal and external risks to maximize business results.
Be a part of the management and direction of the MCC valuation department as the primary assistant to the valuation principal.
Assist with managing, training, and developing staff.
About the role:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics.
CPA License or Valuation related credentials (ASA, ABV, CVA, CFA) preferred.
5 years of business valuation related experience.
Experience reviewing and preparing valuations for financial and tax reporting purposes.
