Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and possess skills in medication administration, dementia care, and hospice care. Responsibilities: - Provide security and ensure the safety of residents and staff - Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules - Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances - Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle - Control access points and direct visitors to appropriate locations - Report any suspicious activities or incidents Requirements: - Experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities - Proficiency in medication administration and dementia care - Knowledge of first aid procedures - Ability to work effectively in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospice care settings - Strong communication skills to interact with residents, staff, and visitors Nice-to-Have Skills: - Familiarity with security systems and drive monitoring software - Experience in meal preparation for residents with specific dietary needs This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the safety and well-being of vulnerable populations.
