Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Bookkeeper. As an Assistant Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with various accounting tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the field of accounting.

Duties:
- Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Assist with payroll processing and related tasks
- Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Assist with financial analysis and forecasting
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department

Experience:
-Proficiency with all forms of Microsoft and social media is a must.

- Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting is preferred
- Familiarity with financial concepts and principles
- Knowledge of governmental accounting is a plus
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Xero, is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
