Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Duration: 6 Months Contract, FTE Conversion Possible

HYBRID: 3 DAYS PER WEEK IN OFFICE REQUIRED

Pay Range: $30-$40/hr. on w2, without benefits

Top 2 MUST HAVE skills or experience required:

o Experience reviewing / understanding / negotiating contracts

o Ability to understand proposals and make recommendations

3 NICE TO HAVE skills (or experience) that are preferred, but not required:

o JD or MBA

o Vendor management

o Banking industry experience

SUMMARY: Working with sourcing teams to inventory, forecast upcoming renewals, and negotiate contracts with our vendors (likely sub- 500k contract values)

REASON FOR OPEN POSITION: BAU volumes, but also looking for potential longer term talent for the team that can grow into larger roles.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Research existing contract pipeline, identify opportunities to save money or reduce financial risk for the contract owners, and execute on those opportunities as they arise.

Job Description:

Our Enterprise Procurement Partners team is looking for a strategic sourcing team member to join us. Our team negotiates contracts with various vendors that range from the largest technology and financial services giants to small start-ups. We are looking for someone to manage vendor negotiations to achieve savings while not losing sight of long term, strategic goals. In this role, you will work with leaders throughout Client as well as outside vendors and consultants. You will review, negotiate, and manage contracts, assist with strategic sourcing (i.e. RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, etc.) and financial planning, and work on project-based initiatives.

This role is specifically aimed toward understanding and negotiating contracts that arise out of our combined Operations and our Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional Banking business lines.
