Core Technology Solutions is Hiring a Computer Operator Near Columbia, SC
We are seeking to hire a Computer operator in Columbia SC! In this role, under immediate supervision, you will serve as a computer operations coordinator reporting directly to a functional manager. Acting as a team member that ensures the stability and integrity of data and server services through monitoring, support, and optimization of all computer operations equipment and processing. This individual has 24/7 on-call responsibilities shared with the group.
*Onsite position in Columbia, SC so candidates must be local to Columbia SC or within a commutable distance to office in Columbia.
What you will do in this role:
- Troubleshoot and recommend technical solutions for customer issues related to backup configuration and recovery.
- Develop workaround solutions as appropriate.
- Perform equipment and software upgrades
- Maintain familiarity with current computer and network products
- Adhere to corporate information security guidelines and promote information security among coworkers
- Effectively interact and communicate with peer to Director-level IT professionals.
- Provide feedback to team regarding product issues, enhancements and new features
Required Education/Experience:
- An Associate’s degree in information technology systems, computer science, or related field and four years of experience in information technology systems or related area.
