Basilone Executive Search is Hiring a Facilities and Safety Manager Near Oakdale, PA

Facilities and Safety Manager

Our client is a fast growing International company and is currently in need of a responsible individual to fill the position of Facilities and Safety Manager. The US operations are located here and the corporate HQ in Europe. The company has global reach and are number 1 in their industry. The Facilities and Safety Manager will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operating results. The successful candidate will oversee the company's facility operations, manage staff, manage office moves and manage janitorial duties, all while remaining in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

This position is also responsible for all Environmental Health and Safety for the company of under 50 employees.

Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

  • that the facility is fully operational with all utilities functioning properly
  • preventative maintenance is performed on facilities equipment, HVAC, air compressors, fire suppression system, etc.
  • and supervise maintenance repair work and assist with checking installation and servicing building equipment
  • stock levels and parts within budget
  • compliance with state and federal regulations, and assist with energy management
  • security of buildings and grounds
  • ongoing communication with contractors, clients, and team
  • and or develop working procedures for system use, reset, and shutdown
  • about delivering consistent excellence
  • Compliance with all E H and S rules and regulations

Education and Experience

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent professional level experience
  • 4 years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent related functions
  • OSHA and other environmental regulations. Prefer OSHA 30 certified.
  • General maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management
  • Be a well-organized, detail and customer (internal and external) oriented self-starter
  • Procurement and negotiation skills
