Job Summary: As a Scooper at Bruster's Ice Cream in Westwood, NJ, you will be responsible for serving our delicious ice cream to customers, ensuring a delightful experience with every visit. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and the capability to handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, provide excellent service, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ice Cream Scooping: Prepare and serve ice cream, sundaes, shakes, and other treats according to Bruster's standards.
• Cash Handling: Operate the cash register, handle transactions accurately, and manage cash drawer.
• Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness of the service area, equipment, and utensils. Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
• Physical Tasks: Lift and carry items up to 50 lbs, including ice cream tubs and supplies.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Previous experience in food service or retail is a plus but not required.
