Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.
- Has the ability to work independently. Must possess strong interpersonal, effective communication and creative problem solving skills.
- Must have extended knowledge base of payer and billing requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and resourceful.
- Must be able to work effectively in multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Education: High School Diploma required; Associates Degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of healthcare customer service and medical insurance experience.
- Training/Certification: ACS LION certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.
