Essential Job Functions :

• Process weekly Retail, Pharmacists, JCS Sales, Computer Cable Systems, Curt’s ACE Hardware, and Distribution Center Payrolls.
• Transmit Direct Deposit File to Financial Institution.
• Key time adjustments weekly from stores.
• Generate and distribute various payroll reports to management.
• Calculating Retroactive pay for associates, incentive pay for Trainees at the Distribution Center, and pay for associates working different jobs at the Distribution Center.
• Create Supplemental Payroll Runs.
• Process manual checks and reverse direct deposits when needed.
• Place Support Tickets with UltiPro.
• Work with IT as needed on changes in AS400 system / UltiPro / UKG systems.
• Prepare Payroll Tax Forms and Payments- File all necessary forms Monthly, Quarterly or Yearly.
• Help prepare and distribute W2’s and answer any associates questions regarding their W2.
• Organize, file, store, shred prior years payroll information.
• Process and verify Garnishments.
• Transmit Checks and Files to Third Party Vendors.
• Process payment to 401K Vendors and File Transmission.
• Check General Ledger accounts weekly / monthly.
• Research Direct Deposit errors, and work with Human Relations Coordinators and Associates to reach resolution.
• Answers telephone or email inquiries regarding payroll problems, adjustments, and time transfers.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications :

• High School graduate supplemented by college degree and / or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of debit and credit bookkeeping principles.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and ability to type with speed and accuracy.
• Must be well organized, dependable, maintain the strictest confidentiality and exhibit professional conduct.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy, and work effectively under strict deadlines.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and / or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact / interaction with various levels of individuals daily.
• Ability to attend on-site work during normal business hours, in the typical work week, as well as extra time as needed to fulfill job duties through regular attendance.
