Concentric Corporation is currently seeking a Temporary Accountant for our client in Omaha, NE to work through the end of December 2024! These positions will support our client’s accounting department with essential financial tasks and ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including the preparation and posting of journal entries.
• Create and maintain detailed backup documentation for all journal entries.
• Use PeopleSoft or similar ERP accounting systems to input journal entries and extract financial data.
• Develop and manage Excel workbooks, including writing formulas, creating pivot tables, and using VLOOKUP and SUMIF formulas.
• Utilize basic skills in Word, Outlook, Explorer (file path), internet, and Teams to support accounting activities.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations and accurate financial reporting.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the accounting team.

Qualifications & Skills Desired

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including:
• Writing formulas
• Creating and managing pivot tables
• Downloading and uploading data
• Using VLOOKUP and SUMIF formulas
• Managing existing Excel workbooks and creating new ones
• Basic skills in Word, Outlook, Explorer (file path), internet, and Teams.
• Effective communication skills with supervisors and team members.
• Ability to create quality backup documents for journal entries.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft or similar ERP accounting systems for inputting journal entries and extracting data.
• Willingness to take on additional duties as assigned and work collaboratively in a team environment.
