Academic Program Administrator position within the Office of Student Affairs. This pivotal role will be at the forefront of overseeing the dynamic array of experiential learning programs that is a component of the Price School's commitment to academic excellence.
The administrator of experiential learning programs will be entrusted with the day-to-day management of our diverse initiatives, including international exchanges, labs abroad, the Price Policy Semester in Washington, D.C. program, degree programs in the nation's capital, invigorating spring break trips, and our enriching Maymester summer programs. Responsibilities will extend to shaping the vision and objectives of these programs, fine-tuning, and proactively addressing program-related inquiries and challenges.
This role will require expertise in crafting and implementing operational and administrative policies and procedures to ensure the seamless functioning of these programs. They will serve as a central point of contact for students, faculty, and staff, providing valuable resources and guidance. This position is based in Los Angeles at the USC Price School of Public Policy. This position is full-time with a hybrid work arrangement.
Job Responsibilities - Spearheads the oversight and implementation of experiential learning programs, meticulously developing and implementing operational and administrative policies to ensure seamless program functionality.
- Assumes the role of day-to-day administrator for experiential learning programs, proactively managing challenges and establishing innovative program precedents and exceptions.
- Functions as a key academic program resource and subject matter expert, utilizing formal processes and tools to efficiently manage resources and resolve issues.
- Conducts comprehensive data collection and analysis, presenting insightful reports on program performance as directed or requested.
- Drafts and generates relevant communication items, orchestrating the production and dissemination of documents to effectively communicate program updates and information.
- Maintains meticulous records of data and student information pertaining to experiential learning programs.
- Leads the development and execution of marketing and recruiting strategies, promoting program visibility, sustainability, and growth.
- Manages financial transactions and processes student and faculty program-related reimbursements with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Work closely with students on program advisement. Serves as the central point of contact for students, faculty, and staff, providing valuable resources and guidance.
- Collaborates closely with faculty, staff, and international/domestic institutional partners on matters related to programs, contracts, and partnerships.
- Collaborate efficiently and strategically with vendors related to information inquiries and contract negotiations.
- Assesses program effectiveness, modifying goals, and activities for enhanced programming and student engagement.
- Facilitates travel arrangements efficiently for both individuals and groups as required.
- Performs additional related duties as assigned or requested, with the university retaining the right to add or modify responsibilities as needed.

Compensation The annual base salary range for this position is $77,883.71 - $93,548.52. Proven ability to plan, implement, and coordinate program logistics. Demonstrated database/data entry experience. Proven project management and problem solving skills, able to handle multiple timelines, changing priorities, and fluctuating workloads.
