Biomedical Field Service Technician -- Career Opportunity

Physio Tech is a growing distributor of specialty Physical Therapy/ Medical products. We are seeking both full time and part-time BioMedical Field Service Technicians for Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. Role Summary:
Respond to service calls to evaluate, diagnose and perform repairs, calibrations and preventative maintenance (PM) on customer's medical and physical therapy equipment. This position involves traveling to clinics throughout the region utilizing company vehicle (full time) or personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement. May also involve assisting with new equipment assembly and clinic set ups.

Requirements & Responsibilities:

Being self-motivated and able to provide a high level of service competence with minimal supervision.

A strong work ethic and impeccable integrity.

Associate Degree in Electronics or Biomedical Equipment Technology or equivalent military BMET or other similar electrical/ mechanical experience.

Previous experience in servicing biomedical equipment, preferably in a field service environment.

Ability to utilize biomedical testing equipment such as ultrasound wattmeter, electrical safety analyzer etc.

Strong knowledge of electronic and mechanical devices.

Operate efficiently, productively and with the extra effort to contain costs for customers.

Ability to assemble/ deliver/ install equipment.

Must possess strong communication skills to interact effectively with clinical personnel.

Submit timely, accurate and thorough documentation & service reports.

A valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Special Physical Requirements: Candidate must be able to handle the physical demands of the job. Some of the physical therapy equipment is bulky/ heavy and requires lifting/ moving/ carrying.
