Aston Carter is Hiring a Marketing Admin Near Port Chester, NY

DescriptionProduct Development Admin:
  • Communicate daily with overseas suppliers and internal departments including Marketing, Sales, and Inventory teams
  • Responsible for editing/maintaining sample logs as well as tracking, receiving, and checking in all sample shipments
  • Responsible for communicating with licensors regarding all new models and special frame requests
  • Responsible for day to day tasks within the department including file saving, folder filing, sample organizing, etc.
  • Assist the department with any meeting prep including checking out samples, creating linesheets, taking pictures, etc.
  • Provide assistance to frame designers with admin work including printing, filing, etc.
  • Manage Department Calendar and schedule all appointments for supplier office visits, trade shows and development trips
  • Maintain current sample frame board
  • Mange and order office supplies specific to the department
  • Attend trade shows as needed
  • Special projects as assigned
Skills: Administrative support, logistics, product knowledge, Microsoft office, photoshop illustrator
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to work both independently and in a group/team setting
  • Deadline driven with strong follow-up skills
  • Shows initiative with a quick ability and desire to learn
  • Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook)
  • Photoshop and Illustrator (desired, not necessary)
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in product development administration
  • Experience within the Eyewear Industry or related degree in fashion, merchandising, design a plus
