Proposal Consultant STEM 2023-19309 :

Bowhead is seeks Proposal Consultants to assist with the capture and proposal development for the Science & Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) effort at NSWC Crane, IN.

This position is on-call and part time in nature.

Responsibilities

Job duties will include :

• Assisting in providing data and information pertaining to the RFP provided.
• Writing technical documents that are accurate and adhere to the RFP.
• Assist in writing naratives and reviewing draft and final documents for technical accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education is required however, a Master's degree is preferred
• Must be a Licensed teacher with an active certificate from the State of Indiana
• Must have prior experience with the STEM contract, teaching and NSWC Crane in general
• Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands :

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS : Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
