Description

The Responsibilities of an Assistant Project Manager are as follows:

• Assist the project management team in planning, coordinating, and executing multifamily development projects from conception to completion.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
• Help develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Assist with procurement and management of subcontractors and vendors.
• Prepare and distribute project documentation, reports, and correspondence.
• Support the resolution of any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.

Profile

Minimum Qualifications for a Construction Assistant Project Manager are:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• Previous experience in project management, preferably within the multifamily real estate industry.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and regulations.
