Job Description:
You will be responsible for projects that improve the security of billions of Android user devices. Success in this role requires sound judgment under pressure, a strong technical background, meticulous attention to detail and outstanding communication skills. While balancing long-term objectives with short term crises, you'll need to use your technical skills to understand, discuss, design, and prioritize technical trade-offs and implementation work. You will coordinate between many stakeholders (both internal and external), set expectations for deliverables from many different teams, keep track of success of parallel efforts, identify key roadblocks and work with the team members involved to keep things moving. You will support programs vital to Android Security (vulnerability management, release, rewards) and the security of the Android ecosystem.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
1-2 years program management experience in the security industry
2-3 years overall security experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in running or participating in bug bounty and/or vulnerability disclosure programs.
Experience with vulnerability management
Experience with security bulletin/release processes
Experience leading, improving, and automating operational security processes.
Experience working and communicating with external partners.
