Echo Sonographer

MUST:
Echocardiography Technician, responsible for the flow of patients and operations of the Echocardiography Lab, to include organizing and performing special tests
An Associate's degree or one to three years formal training in echo cardiology, ultrasonography or a related field is required.
One to three years of progressively more responsible job related experience in ultrasound diagnostic cardiology.
Must be able to perform complete 2D adult echocardigrams.
BLS certification
Registration by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or by the American Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers (ARDCS) or by the Cardiology Credentialing Institute/National Board of Cardiovascular Technologists (CCI/NBCVT)
DUTIES:
Performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including 2D echo, Doppler, stress, dobutamine, and other echocardiographic tests. Prepares preliminary test measurements and facilitates understanding of sonographic examinations.
