Job Summary:
Fremont Auto Glass is seeking a skilled and dedicated Glass Technician to join our team in Riverton, Wyoming. As a Glass Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and replacing automotive glass, as well as providing excellent customer service to our valued clients. This is a Full Time, individual contributor role with a base salary plus commission structure. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in glass repair and installation, as well as a strong work ethic and a passion for providing high-quality work.
Compensation & Benefits:
The Glass Technician position offers a competitive salary range of $2000 to $2500 per month, paid semi-monthly. In addition to the base salary, the position also offers commission opportunities based on performance. Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and replacements on automotive glass, including windshields, back glass, and side windows, using industry standard techniques and materials
- Follow safety procedures and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing repair and replacement tasks
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients to understand their needs, answering any questions they may have, and ensuring their satisfaction with the completed work
- Keep detailed records of all repairs and replacements, including materials used and work performed, for accurate billing and inventory control
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and tools, and properly dispose of any waste materials
- Attend trainings and stay updated on industry trends and advancements in glass repair and replacement techniques
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in automotive glass repair and replacement
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, stooping, and kneeling
