Yoh  has a contract opportunity for a Programming Manager role with our client in the entertainment industry located in New York, NY.

• 6-Months (with the possibility of extension)
• Pay Rate: $33.00 - $36.00 DOE
• Hybrid (3 days Onsite)

Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and executing network programming strategies. We are seeking a strong leader, as you will act as liaison for the programming team with internal departments. The right candidate will have a solid understanding of programming strategy, scheduling systems, and experience with Live programming events. You will provide insight into competitive programming for the purposes of designing and implementing highly effective planning.


Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage and operate network scheduling systems, planning, and entering the 24hr schedule.
• Work with Media Logistics and Network Operations on Live events, including car auctions and professional racing events
• Creates programming stunt/stack options with new and existing programming that feature episodes with a common theme to drive audience engagement and/or ad sales sponsorship
• Monitor all dayparts for audience performance, and consults with research department to help design and build the network schedule to maximize ratings
• Screens and evaluates pilots, series, and specials to recommend an air plan
• Track competitive schedule and alert management of notable trends
• Execute 360 strategies with digital and streaming partners - including staying in compliance with premiere regulations across platforms
• Work closely with production, marketing, social, PR, d / Max scheduling, and media logistics teams to ensure accurate and correct information within scheduling systems
• Maintain weekly series Delivery Report by in conjunction with network production to provide strategy team with delivery snapshot for all new and returning series
• Works on ad hoc projects as needed from management 

Qualifications:

• Must Love TV
• Passion for car culture and motorsports
• Live events will require working 1-2 weekends a month.
• Proficient in linear inventory and scheduling systems
• Must be able to work collaboratively with team members
• Prefer candidates with a background in scheduling or research
• Master of both Microsoft Office Suite and G Suite Products
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills
• Analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Capacity to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Typically requires BS/BA or MS/MA/MBA or other graduate degree in related discipline and at least 5 years of experience, including a supervisory or lead role
• Hybrid job with 3 days expected in the office
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States
