Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Servers to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and enhancing the dining experience for our guests.
Duties:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Deliver orders to tables promptly and ensure accuracy
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about menu items
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders
- Clear tables and maintain a clean dining area
- Process payments and operate POS systems efficiently
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry or related field preferred
- Strong math skills for order accuracy and payment processing
- Sales skills to effectively upsell menu items
- Familiarity with reservation platforms like OpenTable is a plus
- Knowledge of food service procedures including bussing, food safety, and kitchen operations
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous
