This position is responsible for maintaining the Washington State Patrol communication site radio towers, Microwave (MW) and Land Mobile Radio (LMR) antenna systems and perform minor site building preventative maintenance. This position will install and optimize LMR and MW antenna system(s) using the latest technology for microwave path alignment and provide 24-7 support to any tower/antenna related problems. This position will perform inspections of contractor work and verify installation compliance to WSP standards. Perform preventative maintenance of Hydrogen Fuel Cell power plants. This position interacts with other members of the tower crew, supervisors, Senior Telecommunication Specialist (STS), agency staff, and other state and federal government partner agencies. This position also directly supports the agency Continuity of Operations (COOP) functions.
