Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Asbestos Worker to join our team. As an Asbestos Worker, you will be responsible for performing asbestos abatement and remediation tasks in compliance with OSHA regulations. This is a critical role in ensuring the safety and health of our clients and workers. Responsibilities: - Conduct asbestos inspections and assessments to identify potential hazards - Safely remove and dispose of asbestos-containing materials - Follow proper containment procedures to prevent the spread of asbestos fibers - Use specialized tools and equipment for asbestos removal - Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations during asbestos abatement - Document all work performed, including detailed records of asbestos removal activities Experience: - Previous experience in asbestos abatement or related field - Knowledge of building construction and restoration processes - Familiarity with mold remediation procedures is a plus - Understanding of OSHA regulations pertaining to asbestos handling and removal Skills: - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols - Excellent problem-solving skills in identifying and addressing asbestos-related issues - Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently - Good communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and team members Note: This position requires the successful completion of any necessary certifications or licenses required for asbestos abatement.
