Job Description
Busy musculoskeletal based surgery center performing orthopedic, sports medicine, spine, total joint and pain cases in a fully equipped, accredited, and efficient facility, designed to provide high quality surgical services for outpatient surgical candidates in the Tampa Bay area. Fast paced environment, with family like atmosphere. 5 day a week with no weekend and no call, must be flexible with hours. Competitive pay and great benefits. We are currently searching for FULL TIME Surgical Technician for the operating room. Duties include: Participation as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. Assist as a member of the surgical team who works with the surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other registered nurses, delivering direct patient care during surgery. Setting up and assisting in surgery, anticipating the needs of the surgeon, room turn over, etc.
- Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in Surgical Technology.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school od Surgical Technology.
- Must have orthopedic surgery experience.
- Operating Room experience required.
- Current BLS Certification
