Hiring for Full-Time Lawn Care Technician for local property management company. All tools, supplies & vehicles will be provided by the employer. Must have a good driving record. The ability to drive a manual truck with a trailer is a big plus. Experience in Lawn care is required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Current valid Washington driver’s license and proof of insurance
• Experience with grounds keeping/landscaping duties
• Good verbal communication skills
• Work independently in a safe manner as stated in OSHA "Employee Responsibilities"
• Basic understanding of grounds keeping and landscaping practices and procedures
• Ability to work efficiently and thoroughly
• Ability to follow directions
• Thorough understanding of how to care for various types of lawns, greenery, and plants
• Ability to operate various types of power equipment including lawnmowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and other landscaping equipment
• Ability to use hand tools required for landscaping
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments
• Ability to use cell phone & and communicate via text messages
• Ability to work independently with little supervision

General Job Duties:
(Maybe asked to perform duties/tasks not related to duties stated herein)

• Mow grass from property to property on a daily basis will be your primary job duty

General Job duties may also include:

• Weed, trim bushes, prune, remove leaves, re-seed areas as assigned/needed
• Flowerbeds: rake flowerbeds, spread bark dust, remove liter, leaves, etc., replant flowers/trees/shrubs
• Trim trees, stumps, and branches
• Pet waste clean up & replacing garbage bags for pet stations
• Moss control - lawns, roofs, patios, walkways, gutters, buildings
• Garbage/dumpster areas - keep clean and free of debris
• Parking lot care - blow, sweep
• Remove debris/liter from properties
• Gutters - cleanout, remove debris and haul the debris away
• Keep shop area stocked/organized and clean
• Maintain equipment in safe working condition
• Haul trailer with equipment/or dump trailer with debris to dump
• Ability to move/lift heavy objects with the aid of a dolly - up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate various hand/power tools
• Ability to safely climb a ladder to roof/gutter areas

Working conditions:

• This job is an outdoor position - will need to work in all types of weather conditions
• Will require bending/lifting/climbing and sitting for extended periods of time
• Full time position. M-F. Occasionally evenings, nights, weekends, & holidays.
