Position Overview:
A Post-Construction Cleaner is responsible for cleaning and tidying construction sites after the completion of a project. This role involves the thorough cleaning of buildings, structures, and spaces to ensure they are safe, presentable, and ready for occupation. The cleaner will work alongside other team members, supervisors, and construction personnel to deliver high-quality cleaning services.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Cleaning: Perform thorough cleaning of construction sites, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting all areas, such as floors, walls, windows, ceilings, and fixtures.
Debris Removal: Clear construction debris, including wood, drywall, and other materials, from the site and dispose of them properly.
Window Cleaning: Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors to ensure they are free from smudges, streaks, or dirt.
Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for final inspection, including removing stickers, tape, and protective coverings.
Bathroom and Kitchen Cleaning: Clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens, including sinks, toilets, countertops, and appliances.
Trash Removal: Collect and dispose of all trash, ensuring appropriate recycling and waste management.
Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure cleaning equipment is in good working condition and report any damage or malfunctions to the supervisor.
Quality Control: Inspect work areas to ensure cleaning standards are met and make adjustments as needed to meet client expectations.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, supervisors, and construction personnel to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: Previous experience in construction site cleaning or related cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory.
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects, bend, squat, and stand for extended periods.
