Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 am-4:00 pm (flexible to work flow)

Salary: Starting at $17.00 per hour, based on relevant experience.

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a growing company? This position has come open because of an internal promotion! The Shipping Coordinator supports productivity and on-time delivery goals by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies, and staging finished products. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy and the movement of material into and out of the warehouse. This position reports to the Shipping/Warehouse Manager and often has direct interaction with the Production Manager, Supervisors, and Techs, as well as Quality Assurance and the greater Supply Chain team.

Essential Functions

* Pull inventory from assigned bin locations to support pick/pack operations.

* Understand and execute all tasks necessary to accurately ship products to customers.

* Perform weigh counts for WIP returns to inventory.

* Verify on-hand inventory and perform cycle counts as requested.

* Calculate and evaluate various factors to choose and arrange for transportation of incoming materials.

* Responsible for all aspects of logging, routing, shipping, and tracking of outbound orders.

* Receives incoming shipments from vendors.

* Performs put-away duties for incoming shipments.

* Picks and packages orders for shipment.

* Prepares and verifies bills of lading.

* Tracks shipments and prints labels.

* Performs data entry into the NetSuite system.

* Informs carriers of freight pick-ups and ensure that cargo is routed appropriately as indicated by Sales and/or NetSuite.

* Maintain warehouse and material handling equipment in a clean and safe condition. This includes pre-use inspection and identifying safety risks, removing empty crates and boxes, packing materials, and other debris from the warehouse floor. Keeps shelves and pallet area neat, complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

* Consistently uses strength, dexterity, flexibility balance, and good body mechanics when performing essential functions. Follows appropriate safety policies and procedures of RDI as well as community and regulatory instruction.

* Reports all broken and malfunctioning equipment immediately.

* Utilizes all safety features of machinery and vehicles. Adheres to safety techniques as instructed. Reports safety hazards.

* Elevates other issues/concerns to the appropriate party

* Works efficiently, contributing to the success of the department/shift. Supports greater Warehouse and Supply Chain efforts as needs arise

* Completes all departmental documentation consistently, with attention to accuracy and timeliness

* Willingly participates in training, puts training into practice quickly

* Trains fellow employees, including new hires and temporary employees as requested

* Maintains a good record of attendance and punctuality as defined by RDI's policy. Records all time worked accurately and consistently using proper timekeeping method

* Other duties as assigned

This job operates in a production manufacturing warehouse. PPE Provided.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions

* Ability to understand planned order reports and open order reports generated by NetSuite

* Ability to operate electric pallet jack and forklift

* Ability to read and understand design drawings

* Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, weigh scales, etc.

* Willingness to adhere to all organizational policies and procedures

* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to work with minimal supervision

Requirements

* High School Diploma/GED

* 1 years of UPS/FEDEX Shipping & Receiving experience (preferred)

* Forklift expierence is a plus

* Regular and reliable attendance is required
