The Mom Project is Hiring an Accounting Operations Analyst Near Greenwich, CT
Location: Greenwich, CT 60% WFH / 40% In-Office
Hourly Rate: $40 - $50/hr, commensurate with experience
Hours per week: ~ 25 hrs/wk, open to more hours if desired
Ideal Candidate: Comes from an Administrator role within the Alternative Investments industry
Our client is a Greenwich CT based outsourced advisory firm focused on Alternative Investments, including Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and Venture Capital. We pride ourselves on our high touch relationship management and our ability to work closely with High Net Worth Individuals, Single Family Offices, Multi-Family Offices, and Fund of Hedge Funds.
ResponsibilitiesThey are seeking to add an Operations Support Specialist to their team! This role will directly assist the OCIO in administering investment portfolios and operational tasks within the organization. Your role is pivotal in maintaining efficiency and supporting the OCIO’s decision-making process. Here are the key responsibilities:
- Provide support to the OCIO, including monthly accounting, note-taking, and file management.
- Collaborate with the OCIO to maintain accurate records of investment and non-investment transactions.
- Assist in tracking asset allocation, performance metrics, and risk exposure.
- Prepare regular reports summarizing portfolio performance.
- Handle email correspondence and memos on behalf of the OCIO.
- Assist with creating, editing, and formatting PowerPoint Word, and Excel presentations for investment meetings with family members.
- Help coordinate tax and accounting projects with external relationships.
- Prepare interim reports as required and distribute such reports to family members.
- Assist in ongoing manager due diligence and partake in web meetings.
- Proven work experience as an Administrator Support Specialist, preferably in a Family Office or investment firm.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
