Position: Website Specialist
Compensation: $21.00/hr DOE
Location: Sioux Falls, In Office (Flexible hours & opportunities to work remotely once trained)

Job Summary:

The primary function of the Website Specialist is to develop and implement comprehensive strategies to optimize Montgomery’s website for enhanced user experience and increased online traffic. Key responsibilities include uploading and managing products, optimizing the site for search engine performance, and creating and implementing engaging new landing pages. This role requires a keen ability to analyze website data to make data-driven updates that enhance onsite traffic and ensure a seamless customer experience that mirrors the in-store shopping journey. The Website Strategist will also adhere to branding guidelines to maintain a consistent and cohesive online presence.

Qualifications:

1. Word Press Content Management System experience
2. Intermediate HTML knowledge
3. Experience in using graphic design tools including Adobe Creative Suite for basic photo editing recommended.
4. Experience in web analytics, including Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to detail

Duties and Essential Job Functioning:

1. Maintain up-to-date awareness and knowledge of company product
2. Work collaboratively with other departments to understand sales, merchandising and delivery process
3. Proactively identify and address challenges, escalating to manager and marketing team as needed
4. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital marketing innovations to continuously bring fresh and innovative ideas to the team
5. Web management includes:
6. Create promotional pages and new landing pages as needed
   1. Optimize landing pages
   2. Review SEO and analytics to determine page success and barriers
   3. Understand analytics to determine website improvements
   4. Upload product to website
   5. Research product information including key specifications, dimensions and photos to create content for product pages
   6. Resize, format, and process product images
   7. Regularly review product pages on site to ensure content is accurate and current
   8. Assist in the creation and management of designer pages and special landing pages
   9. Analyze website and sales data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization
   10. Develop and implement strategies base don data insights to enhance user experience and increase conversion rates
   11. Perform ongoing keyword discovery to optimize copy and drive traffic to landing pages
