*MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN CURBS AND SIDEWALKS*

• Lead and supervise a team of concrete workers in the construction of curbs, sidewalks, and other concrete structures.
• Plan and organize daily work activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task assignment to ensure efficient project execution.
• Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to accurately layout and construct curbs and sidewalks according to design requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project progression and resolve any issues or challenges that arise.
• Oversee the preparation of subgrade, formwork, and reinforcement installation prior to concrete placement.
• Monitor concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing operations to ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to identify and address any deficiencies or deviations from the project plans.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure all workers adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Train and mentor crew members in proper construction techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of labor, equipment usage, and materials consumption for project tracking and reporting purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in concrete construction, with a minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in curbs and sidewalks installation.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in supervising and managing construction crews.
• Strong understanding of concrete construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with project stakeholders, team members, and subcontractors.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Proficiency in operating construction equipment, such as concrete saws, drills, and vibratory compactors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
