Summary: Interacts directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum revenue and satisfied customers. The bookkeeper is responsible for accounting, but not limited and providing unparalleled customer service to residents.

Office Bookkeeper/Accountant Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Interacts routinely with residents; communicates effectively, appropriately, and courteously with residents, associates, management, and guests to ensure that all areas of concern are addressed promptly and professionally.

· Complies with Aven Baltimore LLC policies and procedures and external regulatory requirements; ensures solid understanding of Aven Baltimore LLC operational and human resources policies and procedures.

· Collect rents, monitors, and manages delinquencies and collections, and maintains accurate records.

· Provides direction to the team in the absence of the Property Manager.

· Prepares, monitors, and distributes reports on a variety of operational and financial data.

· Assists in processing property expenses such as vendor invoices.

· Participates in and attends all required training sessions.

· Keeps Property Manager and Corporate team informed of any information that could affect property operations.

· Supports other communities as assigned by management.

· Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

· Expanded knowledge of Internet and Social Media marketing

· Ability to learn and operate all company software programs.

· RMResident Management Software experienced plus.

· Must be team oriented but able to work independently on occasion.

· Excellent computer skills

· Must possess ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to read, analyze and interpret all forms of information.

· Ability to accept and learn from constructive criticism.

· Must be well organized.

· Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task.

· Must demonstrate tact and diplomacy.

· Must report to duty on time.

· Intermediate knowledge of computers

· Intermediate knowledge Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
