PeerSource is currently recruiting for a .NET Technical Lead on a Direct Hire basis. This position is hybrid based out of Orlando FL, Chicago IL, Kansas City MO, Des Moines IA, or Birmingham AL.

Summary

We seek an experienced Technical Lead to oversee the creation of high-efficiency, scalable, enterprise-level software. This position involves architecture and development for all levels of the application stack. The candidate will handle intricate workflows and data for various business functions within low-latency, essential applications. Leading a talented team of software engineers, this individual will build strong connections with key stakeholders from a broad user community.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural and technical direction while leading a team of software engineers.
• Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle within an Agile framework.
• Develop well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
• Engage in proof of concepts to explore various ideas and technologies.
• Contribute to the architectural roadmap.
• Ensure that designs meet specified requirements.
• Prepare and deploy software component releases.
• Support continuous improvement by researching alternatives and technologies and presenting them for architectural review.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience building enterprise applications, ideally with some experience working in the financial services/FinTech industry.
• Prior hands-on Technical Leadership experience, providing mentorship, direction, and guidance of a development team.
• Experience developing scalable web-based applications using React using Typescript
• Strong C#/.NET Core experience developing complex distributed systems using Microservice architecture
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud platforms (Azure), distributed messaging / streaming platforms (Kafka), CI/CD pipelines (ideally Azure DevOps), TDD/BDD, testing frameworks (Jest/React-testing-library), and both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience working as part of global Agile team
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
