Moulder Operator

Glacier Mouldings in Stanwood, Washington is looking for an experienced wood molder operator. Glacier Mouldings is looking for the right person with the right experience to join our team and help achieve the best results and highest quality millwork with our people and through our equipment. Our operators are responsible for managing molder runs to produce the highest possible quality products while performing to optimum capacity.

Job Duties:

• Moulder Production Setup and Production run trouble shooting
• Tooling
• Change overs
• Preparing tooling for upcoming production runs
• Set up of molder heads

Job Responsibilities:

• Prior experience with Weinig equipment is preferred - but not required
• Ability and the knowledge to be able to keep all moulder knives sharp at all times
• Ability Clean knives and heads during molder runs
• Ability Set up heads prior to the next run
• Ability to trouble shoot during a production run, make adjustments during the run, communicate with and mentor our molder team
• Ability to maintain thickness tolerances of up to .005"

Other Responsibilities:

• Oil, grease and lubricate the moulders as needed in conjunction with the maintenance team to ensure PMs are done on a regular basis.
• Ability to grow, develop and mentor the moulder team - sharing experiences and technical skill gained from your years of experience.

Skills, Education and Experience:

• Factory Weinig training a plus
• Experience operating, setting up and running Weinig moulders a plus
• Wood products manufacturing experience a plus

HOURS: Full-Time, 6:00am-2:30pm, M-F
