Rhode Island Restoration, a reputable disaster restoration and construction company specializing in high-quality residential and commercial projects, is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpentry Foreman to join our team. With a commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail, we strive to deliver exceptional results to our clients after they experience a disaster such as water damage, fire damage, or mold.

Responsibilities:

Execute precise and detailed finish carpentry work, including installation of moldings, trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, and other custom woodwork.

Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to ensure accurate and precise execution of carpentry tasks.

Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Select and work with a variety of materials, tools, and equipment to complete carpentry projects.

Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Maintain a clean and organized work area and proper care of tools and equipment.

Communicate and supervise team members to address project requirements and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter in the construction industry.

Extensive knowledge and expertise in finish carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.

Excellent problem-solving and time management skills to meet project deadlines.

Solid understanding of building codes and safety regulations.

Proficient in the safe use of hand and power tools.

Strong communication and teamwork/leadership skills.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work, as well as to job sites as needed.

Must have tools needed to perform job successfully.

Bilingual skills (desired, but not required)
