We’re seeking a skilled CAD Manager to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:

1. Autodesk Vault Administration and Management:

• Administer and maintain Autodesk Vault : Oversee the configuration, setup, and day-to-day management of Autodesk Vault, ensuring smooth operation, optimal performance, and data integrity.
• User Support : Provide technical support to users, troubleshoot issues, and assist with user access, permissions, and workflows.
• Customization and Workflow Development : Customize Vault settings, create workflows, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and collaboration.
• Version Control and Revision Management : Manage version control, revisions, and document lifecycles within Autodesk Vault.
• Continuous Improvement:  Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD software and data management technology to recommend improvements.

2. Data Migration:

• Upgrade and Migration Planning : Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to plan and execute data migrations during software upgrades or system changes.
• Autodesk Vault Data Migration : Migrate CAD data stored in Autodesk Vault to newer versions, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to ongoing projects.
• Legacy Data Assessment : Evaluate legacy CAD data and prioritize migration efforts to Autodesk Vault based on business needs and project requirements. Ensure accuracy and completeness of migration.
• On-Demand Migration : Implement on-demand migration for specific files as required, balancing performance considerations and resource availability.

3. CAD Production:

• 3D & 2D CAD Modeling : Use Autodesk Inventor to design and create detailed 3D models of parts, assemblies, and systems; use AutoCAD Mechanical to draft 2D drawings of components, weldments, and rack systems.
• Collaborate with Design Teams : Work closely with design engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless CAD production processes.
• Quality Assurance : Review CAD files for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.
• File Organization and Structure : Organize CAD files, maintain a logical folder structure, and ensure consistent naming conventions.

Qualifications:

• Experience:  Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
• Education:  Associate’s degree in Drafting or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Certification: CAD Design
• Autodesk Vault : Proficiency in administering and managing Autodesk Vault, including user support, customization, and version control.
• CAD Proficiency : Expertise with CAD software, preferably in Autodesk products (e.g., AutoCAD Mechanical, Inventor, and Vault) and understanding of CAD file formats.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Data Migration Skills : Prior experience with data migration processes, especially within Autodesk Vault, including data cleaning, validation, and transfer between systems.
• Attention to Detail : Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail when managing CAD data.
• Collaborative Team Player : Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills.
• Problem-Solving : Analytical mindset and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
