Overview:

This position serves as the organizations lead in researching, planning, placing, tracking and coordinating strategic marketing campaigns which promote both specific service lines as well as the overall FHP Brand. This position cultivates both internal and external relationships in order to communicate and implement multiple simultaneous marketing plans ensuring that goals and deadlines are met.

Responsibilities:
  1. Schedules and supervises the work of assigned staff to achieve the defined business goals and to ensure smooth work flow in the department. Coordinates team activities and the staff-to-workload ratios to accomplish the most effective use of resources. Sets work goals for team members and monitors measurable outcomes in accuracy, timeliness, productivity and service quality.
  1. This position is the FHP subject matter expert and will provide leadership on marketing, coordinating multiple campaigns and projects throughout the entire lifecycle from planning and placing ads through technical and creative dependencies, launch, and post-launch analysis.
  2. Works with Internal & External Affairs Senior Director and other senior leaders to understand business needs and define marketing objectives. Establishes methodology, evaluation criteria, goals and measures. Collaborates with business partners to obtain measurement data. Take complex data and present it in a concise and informative manner for internal customers.
  1. Assess likely effectiveness of each of a range of marketing channels, such as print, radio, television, online, etc., for each campaign and select those most likely to reach target audience segments.
  2. Grow organizational competence in all aspects of digital marketing to build brand awareness, engagement and conversions. Provide thought leadership and partner with others to grow and manage a complex network of channels, including FHP website, social media, organic (SEO) and paid search (SEM), paid display, blogs, video, and more.
  1. Serves as a team member, partners with internal colleagues and internal customers, as well as external vendors to develop and place content. Will participate as part of a multidisciplinary team and must leverage the skillsets of others on the team and from other areas of the organization to achieve objectives without having any direct oversight authority.
  1. Proactively manages schedules, identify dependencies, anticipate and address issues before they become risks; present clear risk mitigation plans as needed.
  2. Defines and facilitates the process for assessing whether marketing projects deliver on metrics, identifying pain points, lessons, and seizing opportunities for improvements.

Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Provides all customers of Foundation Health with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leader behaviors each and every day.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of marketing or related area as normally acquired through the completion of a bachelors degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field. Skill level as typically achieved through a minimum of 5-7 years of marketing, public relations, communications and/or campaign management experience.

Must be able to demonstrate a high level of analytical and strategic thinking to plan, direct, and coordinate designated projects to ensure that goals and/or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters, as described above. Competence as a creative writer to develop blogs, ad text, and website copy.

Ability to effectively communicate in both written and oral formats with colleagues to direct others as their functions relate to respective projects. Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and present marketing analysis, marketing plans, and recommendations to internal customers.

Must have a working knowledge of personal software packages to prepare correspondence and presentations as well as create and generate spreadsheets and reports.

Must be results-oriented and able to organize and independently manage various projects or processes simultaneously.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Proven working experience in digital marketing, including SEO, digital ad placement including setting up, and optimizing Google Adword campaigns.

Use of ad serving tools, and A/B and multivariate experiments and use of website analytics tools preferred.

Healthcare experience preferred.
