Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated IT Project Specialist to join our dynamic team in a hybrid work setting. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in guiding IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet our high standards and objectives. In this hybrid role, the IT Project Specialist will have the flexibility to work both remotely and on-site, providing the opportunity to collaborate closely with team members in various settings. The IT Project Specialist will be responsible for identifying necessary resources and conducting in-depth research to fully understand the project's scope and direction, leveraging both virtual and in-person interactions to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans and manage all aspects of the project lifecycle to ensure timely and successful completion. This includes initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects.

Resource Identification: Identify all necessary resources, including human, technical, and financial, to achieve project goals. Collaborate with various departments to secure these resources.

Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research on project-related data, procedures, and history to gain a complete understanding of the project's direction. Generate and analyze statistical data reports to support decision-making and project advancement.

Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with all involved parties, including team members, stakeholders, and management. Provide regular updates on project progress and milestones.

Ensuring Project Delivery : Ensure project delivery on time and within budget while fully meeting the defined project scope. Implement strategies to efficiently manage resources, control costs, and mitigate risks to achieve project objectives.

Project Transition: Ensure a smooth transition of the project to management personnel upon completion. This includes providing all necessary documentation and support to facilitate the handover.

Presentation and Training: Participate in oral presentations to share project insights, progress, and outcomes. Develop and provide targeted training to team members and stakeholders as needed to support project objectives.

Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all project activities comply with relevant regulations and standards. Prepare and manage all required release materials and documentation to support project delivery and compliance.

Qualifications

· Preferred bachelor’s degree in information technology; associate degree is acceptable with relevant experience.

· Proven experience in IT project management, with a strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate and interpret complex data reports.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and objectives.

· Proficiency in project management software and tools.

· Commitment to continuous learning and development in project management and IT trends.

· Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment .
